There is little or nothing known about Padawan Anakin Skywalker
at this time. Most of what we do know is spoilers or rumors, but
here is the basic story... as much as we know so far.

Anakin Skywalker was sold into slavery when he was very young. He and his mother
Shmi worked for Watto, a junk dealer on Tatooine. When Anakin was around nine
years of age, he met jedi master Qui-Gon Jinn. He helped Qui-Gon to find parts for
his ship, which had been damaged, through winning a pod race. Qui-Gon recognized
the Force potential in Anakin, freed him and brought him along to Coruscant.

Qui-Gon and his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi took him to the Jedi Council. Unfortunately
the jedi council did not approve of Anakin. Master Yoda said, "I sense much fear in you.
Fear leads to anger...anger leads to hate...hate leads to...suffering." Qui-Gon, however
did not dispair and he decided to train Anakin anyway. They went to the planet Naboo
to help it's ruler, Queen Amidala, save her people. Anakin helped greatly in the battle,
but Qui-Gon was killed by the evil sith lord Darth Maul. Anakin and Obi-Wan returned to
Coruscant, where Obi-Wan took the trials...and passed. Against the advice of Yoda,
he took Anakin as his Padawan.

Many years later, Padawan Anakin returned to Tatooine to free his mother and his droid,
C3PO. He had many adventures fighting during the Clone Wars, and eventually married
Padme Amidala. But at that time, Chancellor Palpatine (or Darth Sidious), had his eye
on Anakin who was the most powerful padawan of all time. He eventually won him over
to the Dark Side and Anakin became Darth Vader. Padme Amidala gave birth
to twins, however, and Obi-Wan hid the boy on Tatooine and the girl with Bail Organa.

Later, Obi-Wan trained the boy, named Luke Skywalker, to be a jedi. Obi-Wan was
killed by Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) and Luke went to train with Master Yoda.
He learned that Darth Vader was his father, and in a final battle, nearly killed him.
In the very end, Darth Vader saved Luke from the Emperor, but died in the
process. His last words were, "You were right about me [having good left]...
tell your sister...you were right."
